CityMedia is a project born in 2009. It is the result of a collective effort between developers, artists and cultural operators, united by the desire of redesigning the role of the media in the city and making the most immersive and human use. It takes the form of a large interactive touch screen installed in the public space, which can be activated by several people at once, acting together or independently. Its contents are information in the cultural, tourist domains, but also art or games… This project is inspired by an experiment conducted in Helsinki. This is a new urban communication media, service to exchange between locals and visitors in the city.
